Hello friends, and welcome to my very first blog entry!
Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way. I have several reasons for starting a blog:
First and foremost, since I am absolutely terrible at keeping in touch with distant (and even not-so-distant) friends and family, I am hoping that this will help me maintain contact with all of those poor, lost souls (You know who you are!).
Second, I am also not one to keep a journal. At all. Ever. When I die, there will be no evidence that I ever existed. (Except for the red streak of paint on the pole at the Papa Murphy’s drive-thru. Yep, that was me, trying to cut the turn too tight in Clifford, the Big Red Van.) With a blog, I hope to feel more pressure to stay up to date. Feel free to nag me!
Last, but certainly not least, I love being a mom! I love the daily laughter, challenges, tears, messes, surprises, and triumphs of motherhood. I think it’s important that we mommies of the world unite and let people know how truly wonderful and exciting our lives can be.
Whew! Now that that’s over with, on with the adventure….
