Or at least quite the little enterpreneur.
As you may or may not know, one of his hobbies is programming little computer games. He also likes to browse “programmer discussion boards” (I have no idea what these are really called) to better hone his skills. Apparently last week, a nice man in New York had a programming question. Daniel responded with an answer, the man asked for more help, Daniel spent about three hours writing some source code, and the nice man paid him $100. One hundred dollars! For three hours of work. I can’t even earn that much with my college degree.
Unfortunately, he isn’t a genius when it comes to handling money, and immediately spent it on Guitar Hero 3 with a wireless bass guitar and a new Monopoly game with the electronic money counter thing. I think that next time he should donate his earnings to the “Mommy needs new home decor” fund. After all, he clearly inherited his intellect from me. Clearly.
