A friend and I had a conversation once in which I said that I wanted to move to Hawaii. He looked at me, chuckled, and said, “You couldn’t live without your mountains.” And he was right.
From as early as I can remember, I have loved the peacefulness of the mountains. I love being in the mountains, whether it be for an extended camping trip or just for a picnic. I love hiking along a little stream and listening to the sounds of the forest. I love love LOVE breathing in fresh mountain air. And I love where we live, because we are surrounded by mountains. Gorgeous mountains. Just driving down Main Street makes my heart sing, because of the beautiful mountains in the distance. You won’t find a prettier Main Street view anywhere, I promise.
