The Only Way This Could Possibly Be Better is if Maks Were on the Other Line August 4, 2010

Daniel handed me the phone today.  “There’s some French guy who wants to talk to you.”

Actually, it was the captain of the boat I have booked to take us on a whale watching trip in a few days, calling to firm up our plans.  And he wasn’t French, he was Australian.  HE WAS AUSTRALIAN!!

What’s that?  You’re wondering why that’s so exciting?

Let’s review.

This is what Australian men look like.  All of them.  It’s true.

And let’s not forget:

Plus, they also sound really cool.

So, in conclusion, I am going to be on a boat in the ocean with a hot Australian sea captain.  And Todd won’t be there.  It’s a charmed life that I lead.

PS – Are any of you getting the feeling that I have way too much free time on my hands now that the campaign has slowed down a little bit?

Wow, are you going on a whale watching tour while in Oregon? If so I want to hear all about it!

Where are you going whale watching?? If you say Washington, you will be in big trouble!

I hope you have a great trip!

Why will I be in big trouble if I say Washington? Am I not allowed in Washington? Am I not cool enough to hang out with you Washingtonians?
It just so happens that we’ll be in Oregon. I wouldn’t want to go to Washington anyway – people up there are snobs with funny names. 😛

        Ohhh Jennidoo,

You would only be in trouble cause you did not tell me your were coming so I could roll out the red carpet (you silly girl). Of course, you stuck up girls from Spanish Fork wouldn’t understand. I still hope you have fun in Oregon and if you are in Portland you can look up my crazy aunt at the Hat Museum (http://www.thehatmuseum.com/) It would certainly be enlightening.
